A boutique home-goods storefront with a curated shopping experience, custom lookbook, and conversational checkout nudges.
The challenge
Pixel wanted a storefront that felt like a magazine — with curated collections and rich storytelling — not a generic Shopify theme. Their existing site was fast enough but unmemorable, and add-to-cart rates were flat.
What we built
Custom Next.js storefront on headless Shopify, with a curated lookbook, rich product storytelling, and Algolia search. Conversational nudges during checkout recovered 14% of carts. The whole experience is mobile-first, and the cart drawer is a single click from anywhere in the catalog.
The outcome
AOV up 22%, add-to-cart up 19%, and a 1.1s LCP across the catalog. The Pixel team has shipped two new collections in the last month using the CMS — both went live in under a day.
